Madison Preschool is open all year round. We are four-star rated by Youngstar. We have one classroom with children between 2.5 and 6 years old. We have small class sizes; we cap our class at 16 children in one classroom. We are open from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. We have several types of classes: All day- 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Morning Class- 8:30 am to 11:30 am
Coming Soon! We have been accepted into the primary stage of the Get Kids Ready Program! This program is FREE for 4-year-old children living in the state of Wisconsin. We have limited spots available. Apply Soon! Applications will be open soon.
Get Kids Ready! State Information
- New, free program for 4-year-olds in child care to get school readiness instruction at their child care provider.
- Will enhance school readiness instruction in participating child care providers.
- State funding will make this program free for families by paying child care providers directly.
A child is eligible to participate if:
- They are 4 years old on or before September 1 of the school year in which they plan
to participate. - The child’s parent or guardian submits an application to participate in the program, on a form prepared by DCF, to a participating provider.
- A participating child care provider has accepted the child’s application to attend Get Kids Ready.

Madison-Specific Information
Get Kids Ready program will run from September 1 to May 22. The program will run from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Monday through Friday. We will be using Experience Curriculum to help align our teaching with the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (see more information at collaboratingpartners.com/wmels/).
We will have extended care available, covering the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
After the Get Kids Ready spots are filled, families will have the option to pay for 4K.
